I’m writing in the capacity of a landlord and a client of Mr. Darryl Jonathan Tan Wei Zhi (CEA Reg. R064826J), who provided me with his professional services in marketing my apartment and processing the leasing of it from 16 May 2022 to 7 Jun 2022. Throughout the course of his services, Mr. Tan exhibited exceptional professionalism and extraordinary personal qualities. Mr. Tan was extremely prompt and organised in his actions. After inspecting the apartment on 16 May 2022, he managed to put up the listing on 2 major property platforms in Singapore the very next day. One day later, he started to document and organise a number of prospective tenants’ profiles and updated me as and when new enquires came in. Soon after that, Mr. Tan decided to coordinate and conduct an Open House to speed up the process. Right after the Open House, Mr Tan was already receiving offers and managed to finish all formalities for my apartment in merely 3 weeks’ time. Mr. Tan displayed an exceptionally high level of professionalism. He thoroughly went through all important checks for me as a landlord (such as eligibility to rent out the unit) and for prospective tenants (such as immigration status). He highlighted all the important clauses in all legal documents and explained them to me clearly. He also communicated all salient information to me at his earliest convenience in an organised, coherent, and easy-to-understand manner. He followed all my instructions faithfully, acted in my best interest, and advised me whenever there was such an opportunity. Finally, he has always invited me to ask him any questions that I might have, giving me assurance that he was always there to provide support and information. Mr. Tan went beyond his call of duty in providing his professional services. He took the initiative to prepare eye-catching marketing materials that represented my apartment’s conditions fairly. He also worked extremely diligently, sometimes providing me with the latest updates well into the night. When facing a difficult prospective tenant, he proactively consulted his company lawyer, sought legal advice, and communicated it to me promptly and clearly. He even offered to assist me in getting quotes from air conditioner servicing contractors and arranging it for me. Mr. Tan’s dedication was well beyond my expectations. Mr. Tan proved to be an exceptional real estate agent and equally an exceptional individual. Not only did he take care of my case meticulously and expeditiously, but he also managed to earn me the highest transacted rental in the vicinity in the past 2 months. With his motivation, diligence, and attention to details, I am convinced that Mr. Tan is an invaluable asset to any organisation, and I have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Tan’s services to anyone when it comes to property transactions in Singapore.
